This talk will explore the challenges and opportunities that come with teaching and learning on the bleeding edge. While potentially intimidating, emergent technologies can be amazing training ground for new technologists. They offer the opportunity for newcomers to grow their skills alongside a toolset that’s increasing in maturity and adoption. Younger technologies also often have vibrant and accessible communities and opportunities for newer devs to make meaningful contribution. This can help them feel confident, productive and have a sense of belonging.
Through this talk attendees will be encouraged to reconsider what it means for something to be “beginner’s work”, they’ll also learn a little bit about virtual reality on the web along the way.
